Rooms and Suites
The accommodations at the Rosewood Las Ventanas are truly special. The suites and villas have spacious bedrooms, large patios, and most offer beautiful views of the Sea of Cortez.
Luxurious linens and towels, bathrobes for each guest, slippers and everything one might need in a hotel room is provided during your stay.
The bathrooms offer double sinks, a soaking tub, and a spacious shower. The bath amenities were by the luxury Italian fashion house – BVLGARI! ❤️ Additionally, super luxurious bath salts and bath oil are provided to enjoy with your baths. Candles are also all around the suite and can help set a relaxing mood.
Plenty of spring water was available and replenished daily. Nespresso machines with coffee were also included.
The inclusion of a small fridge magnet, handcrafted by local artisans and included with the daily turndown service, was a super nice touch. Additionally, a gourmet pastry was also left in the room daily for each guest.
Each room also features a small wooden menu of different aromatherapy options that guests can choose daily to complement their mood.
Every detail was well thought out, which made for a super luxurious and wonderful stay.
Dining options at the Rosewood Las Ventanas
The Rosewood Las Ventanas offers six distinct dining options, each serving up delicious and diverse culinary experiences to satisfy every taste.
Arbol
The Arbol restaurant is often hailed as the best restaurant in Cabo San Lucas, and it’s easy to see why. The place is stunningly decorated, with a vibe that feels both upscale and inviting. Their menu is a unique blend of fresh local ingredients with a cool Asian twist. While many of the main dishes are inspired by Indian cuisine, they’ve also got some impressive seafood towers and perfectly grilled meats and fish. Everything we tasted was incredibly fresh and delicious, and the service was top-notch.
Alebrije
The Alebrije restaurant is a must if you want to experience authentic Mexican cuisine with a modern twist. The menu focuses on dishes from the state of Oaxaca, each crafted using local, seasonal ingredients. The service is really good, and the staff are passionate about sharing the stories behind the dishes, making the whole experience even more memorable. The restaurant’s atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed, making it perfect for a special night out.
Be sure to check out the breakfast at Alebrije, where you can savor delicious and unique Oaxacan specialties. Don’t miss the Oaxacan coffee and hot chocolate for an authentic and unforgettable taste experience. 😋❤️
Sea Grill
The Sea Grill restaurant has the best views of the Sea of Cortez and offers a laid-back dining experience. They serve fresh, locally sourced seafood grilled to perfection—it was absolutely delicious! The menu also features ceviche, shellfish, and a fun ‘make-your-own pizza’ option. It’s one of the onsite spots that also serves breakfast. We enjoyed several fantastic meals at Sea Grill, including both breakfast and dinner, and we found the food and service equally outstanding. Be sure to sample some wines from Mexico for an interesting complement to your meals.
Tequila and Ceviche Bar
The Tequila and Ceviche Bar offers a variety of freshly prepared ceviche along with a great selection of tequilas and cocktails to complement the seafood. We really enjoyed the food and drinks; however, we found the location a bit out of the way, with limited ocean views, and a little too hot during the lunch hour. Be sure to ask the bartender and your service staff if you have any questions about tequila or mezcal, as they are very knowledgeable.
La Cava
La Cava is a wine cellar and a great option for hosting a private gathering. Although we didn’t get a chance to dine there, based on our experiences at the other restaurants, it’s likely an excellent choice for a special event.
La Botica
La Botica is the onsite speakeasy bar, offering a mix of timeless Prohibition-era cocktails and innovative drinks crafted by some of the area’s top mixologists. Keep in mind there’s a $99 minimum consumption fee. On weekends, the artist-in-residence adds to the atmosphere with live entertainment.
The Oasis pool bar
Technically not a restaurant, but certainly deserving a mention, is the bar at the Oasis pool. We had the freshest and most delicious tacos at this bar. If you like tacos, be sure to make a special short trip to this area of the resort and enjoy any of the daily specials. They were all excellent. The margaritas to accompany the food were also super tasty and refreshing.
Other amenities
Pools and beach
The Rosewood Las Ventanas has eight different pools to suit any taste. There are pools for families visiting with children, as well as adult-only pools that offer a quiet atmosphere. There are plenty of lounge chairs to choose from and we found the service staff to be super attentive to any need we had. Drink and food requests were fulfilled quickly, and the options were plentiful.
Of note is that the beach at the Rosewood Las Ventanas is considered a non-swimming beach due to the strong underwater currents and the sand drop within a short distance. There is also no lifeguard onsite. Swimming is at your own risk.
Spa
A full-service spa is located in the middle of the resort. You can use the spa steam rooms and plunge pool without a spa appointment. Treatment options are also available and place emphasis on local ingredients and interpretations of local culture. You can book your treatments online here or through your suite butler. The spa even offers a junior menu to service your younger group members.
Fitness Center
A good size gym with Technogym equipment, as well as Peloton bikes, is also conveniently located in the middle of the resort. You can use the gym and equipment free of charge. However, there is an additional fee for the classes offered onsite (the fee for a yoga class at the time of our visit was $59). You can see a list of the offered classes here.
The Salon
A full-service salon is also available onsite and provides hair, makeup, nail, and facial services as well as men’s grooming services. Of note is the unique shampoo lounge, where you can get an air-shiatsu chair massage, followed by an aromatherapy scalp and cranial massage, finished with a wash and hair treatment. Salon services must be booked onsite.
