Park Hyatt Istanbul Macka Palas facts
The Park Hyatt Istanbul Macka Palas is located at Tesvikiye, Bronz Sokak No. 4 Sisli, Istanbul, Türkiye, 34367. The hotel sits on a quiet street in this very posh neighborhood and feels miles away from the hustle and bustle of the city. However, it is super conveniently located, with a variety of dining and transportation options just steps away. At night, you can easily walk to the lively Besiktas area and partake in the nightlife of the city. And if you are a soccer (football) fan, the stadium of the beloved Besiktas team, Vodafone Stadium, is also just a short walk away. We absolutely love the location of the Park Hyatt Istanbul.
It offers:
- Five types of suites, each with an en suite Turkish bath and steam room, as well as full tubs and rain showers. Some of the suites offer terraces with views of the Bosphorus strait.
- Ninety spacious rooms with large bathrooms, deep soaking tubs, a rain shower, and a traditional Turkish bath.
- A variety of dining options: Nusr-Et Maçka Palas, the Lounge, the Turquaz, and Cipriani Istanbul
- A full and very trendy bar – The Wine Bar
- A new option offering a secret recipe coffee and more – The Coffee Shop Kapicciiiinoo
- A full service spa, including a Turkish Hammam
- A state-of-the-art fitness center and rooftop pool
Checking in/out of the Park Hyatt Istanbul
Check-in is 3pm and check-out is 12pm, which is a bit later than many hotels. If you arrive early the hotel will store your bags at a minimum and will also accommodate you if your room is not available. Additionally, if you are a Hyatt Rewards program member, you can request a late check out. Becoming a Hyatt Rewards program member is free, and it provides great program loyalty perks – early check-in, late check-out, free breakfast (at the Globalist level) and more. We highly recommend it.
Rooms and Suites
The Park Hyatt Istanbul offers very comfortable accommodations. We have stayed in a standard room, an executive suite, and in the presidential suite and were extremely satisfied with all options. We found the rooms and suites spacious and including everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
The beds and bed linens were of high quality, the bath towels were soft and absorbent, and robes and slippers were also included in all rooms and suites. Additionally, it was great having an Illy espresso machine and a tea kettle for in-room coffee or tea.
Finally, some suites include a terrace, and this was such a special addition as it provided not only a great place to relax but also a place to enjoy beautiful views of the Bosphorus.
Dining Options
The Park Hyatt Istanbul has plenty of great food options onsite.
- Nusr-Et Ma̤ka Palas Рthis is the place for a buffet-style breakfast. Additionally, under the leadership of world-famous Nusret G̦k̤e, this restaurant specializes in premium meats. Outdoor dining by the pool is also available.
- Lounge at Park Hyatt – open from 3pm to 6pm, the Lounge offers afternoon tea service considered one of the best in town.
- Turquaz Restaurant – beautifully decorated with Iznik tiles, this restaurant serves contemporary takes on traditional Turkish cuisine. The food is tasty and creative. Be sure to grab a reservation here.
- Cipriani Restaurant – the world-famous Italian restaurant Cipriani is conveniently located inside the Park Hyatt. If you are craving Italian food in an upscale setting, be sure to visit. For us, with so many great food options in town and the very tasty Turkish food, it was hard to justify eating at Cipriani, but the restaurant looked beautiful and a great option to celebrate a special occasion.
- The Wine Bar – never busy, this bar is great for when you want to grab a cocktail or glass of wine before heading out or after a night on the town. We loved the design of The Wine Bar.
- The Coffee Shop Kapicciiiinoo – stop by for an extraordinary coffee experience in a beautifully designed space. Be sure to try their secret coffee recipe.
The Spa at Park Hyatt Istanbul
The Spa at the Park Hyatt Istanbul Macka Palas deserves its own section. After undergoing an extensive renovation and the addition of a traditional Turkish hammam, the spa is just not to be missed. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable, the spa rooms are beautiful, and there are plenty of services offered, including massages, facials, scrubs and more.
If you have never tried a Turkish Hammam, this is the place to try it. Wow! It is a super relaxing experience that you can enjoy alone or share with a special someone. And even if you have experienced a traditional hammam, this one is truly over the top – the marble bed, organic soaps, and treatment are just to die for. A highly recommended activity to try and enjoy. 😊
